Manuel Cortés singing at Occo nightclub in Seville, the greatest hits of his musical career.

Manuel Cortés Interview

- What is your level of work now that you have released new songs? I am very happy, I have many concerts. I am in a very good moment of my career. Above all, always with my musicians, with my band, and well, creating new things. It is a joy to always have them with me, with the people I have counted on from the beginning and who have seen me grow day by day. - Do you see yourself releasing songs with other styles in the future? Well, it is true that people think that because of my personality or the way I dress, I am a bit modern, so to speak, and it is true that people ask me to record something more reggaeton-ish and so on. It is a genre that I respect a lot, I even listen to it if I have to party, but I feel something else, I feel that I can mix rhythms without making pure reggaeton, I think that for that there are already enough artists who are world number one. My initiative is to grow day by day and of course we have done it, as for example with Aly, creating styles and combining rhythms, an Afro rhythm with flamenco. - What do you like most about your profession and what would you change about the industry? At the media level I would not change anything because I think that regretting things is taking a step backwards, I am who I am, who surrounds me. I am grateful to come from where I come, proud and I accept the criticisms that I have to accept in that television aspect, then those who know me know how I am. There are many people who like me when they see me on television, I live day to day and take advantage of opportunities. In my day I was very grateful to television and today I still am because I think it is a method to promote your music and your work and I think it is one of the best that exist. - A dream at an artistic level. That my songs never stop enchanting, every time I go on stage and people sing my songs my heart feels the happiest in the world. - Have you thought about crossing the pond and also trying your luck in Latin America? Well, I recently crossed it to go hungry (laughs), I was in Honduras recently as you know, I went to Survivor. But at an artistic level we have not done it yet, we have received some messages from Argentina, I think also because of the influence my father had there. Especially in Chile as well. I was surprised that they sent me videos in Miami in some clubs they were singing "Te quiero", "Me falta el aire", a friend of mine who was there working sent me those videos and the truth is that it makes me very happy. We will wait for the opportunity and when it comes we will have to take advantage of it. - Do you have in mind to be in another reality show seeing the success you had in Survivors? Well, the truth is that it is not something I think about daily, but I am open. I have love for Survivors. Unfortunately, after fighting a lot and giving everything there are things that people liked and there are others that they did not, but what we have lived and what we have felt there we know those who have been there. It is a format that I love, it makes you feel good about yourself, find yourself, learn, mature... It is hard, I always say that it is the hardest experience I have lived in my life but one of the most beautiful. - What do you think of the detractors? Do you think it helps you to work harder or do the criticisms affect you? This question is very easy, detractors always have to exist, what I recommend is to take the negative comments if you see them and pay attention to them, analyze them. If you think they may even be right, you try to correct it. They serve to correct things, there are detractors who say nonsense but there are others who show their opinion and you have to know how to take the positive from the negative. Think that someone may be criticizing me but is right and have the mentality and try to correct it.

Marina García, singer at Occo Sevilla nightclub, performing with LED lights in the background.

Marina Garcia Interview

- You started very young in the industry, would you like your children to follow your example? I would like them to be good at it, to enjoy it, but to dedicate themselves to it... I would prefer them to dedicate themselves to something else. This is a very beautiful world, but it is also very unstable. You have to be very strong because just as they flatter you, they can say anything to you. Not everyone is strong enough to face that criticism. I prefer them to dedicate themselves to something else. I handle it well, but I prefer something else. - Which of your songs do you have a special fondness for? There are many that I am fond of. For example, "Hazme volar" is a song that people sing out loud wherever I go. - Which artists serve as a source of inspiration for you? For me, my mother-in-law Montse Cortés is the most beautiful voice that exists. Of course, also Camarón, I have listened to him since I was little, but the truth is that my mother-in-law inspires me a lot. I try to learn in my own way because I admire her so much that I think I will never be able to sing like she does, but the truth is that it helps me a lot to learn. - How do you see yourself in the future musically? The truth is, I see myself very well, fighting for what I like. I am positive, I have the hope of reaching a point in my career where I say: "I feel happy, I feel satisfied". - Did you expect the success you were going to have? Not at all, it was not prepared at all. They recorded me, uploaded me, and it started to be shared. I remember that people started adding me, it seemed strange to me, and that's when I decided to create a professional Facebook page. - Do you think social media is important for your musical career? Of course, in the end, that's how I became known. They recorded me and that's how it came about. There was nothing prepared, nothing thought out. I think that moment was for me, and nowadays it is essential. - In your beginnings, what source of inspiration did you have? In my house, on my mother's side, we are very fond of flamenco, we like it a lot. My great-uncle dedicated himself to it, but I never got to know him. My parents are healthcare workers. So, since I was little, I have been singing in the school choir as a soloist. - Would you like to try your luck in other countries or do you have any similar goals in mind? I would love to, at the moment I don't have that opportunity within my reach. I aspire to everything that is possible. - Do you see yourself doing other musical genres? I have already made an album more towards pop and the truth is that I consider it very beautiful, it's called "Salida de emergencia", but like "Desde la frontera" none. With those songs I feel more comfortable, more identified. Whether you like it or not, people also like it more. Although I have done the other very happily, I like to try things and I felt comfortable. I try things if the opportunity arises, I do it and I try to do it as best as I can. - What did you learn from your husband artistically? I am learning a lot of things and I continue to learn many things. The truth is that Antonio has a gift, not because I say so. Anyone who is a musician can tell you, and the greatest recognize it. He plays the piano, the guitar at a professional level, he sings... For me he has a voice that I love. Before starting with him, he was my platonic love. I saw him since I was little in a program he went to, knowing that he was the son of Montse Cortés. I love to see him and the truth is that I learn a lot about vices that I have with my voice. He teaches me to try to do new things.

El Bomba on Andalusia Day in Occo Sevilla singing together with Manuel Cortés.

El bomba Interview

- What new projects are you focused on right now? Right now we have a project, we're going to cross the pond for the first time, we're going to Costa Rica to sing with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Costa Rica in the National Auditorium to sing boleros. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to cross the pond for the first time. - What positive and negative things do you take away from being in a contest as popular as La Voz? The positive above all, the experience... It's brutal, I've fulfilled dreams that I never even thought would happen, meeting Alejandro, Antonio Orozco, establishing that friendship with them... That has been a gift, the negative well when you leave those types of programs you find yourself waiting to enter a new world at a level you are not used to. But the truth is that everything is very good, the positive outweighs the negative. - What place would you like to perform because you consider it a dream to fulfill? I would love to perform in two places, one would be the Betis stadium and the other would be the Maestranza theater. - What audience would you like to reach the most? The truth is that it is not something that I have ever thought about, I think that in the end to the one who feels identified with your way of expressing yourself. The one who understands it, shares it, to the one who hurts and to the one who likes it, welcome. - Have you thought about broadening horizons? I have always sung flamenco but I have never considered myself a flamenco singer and the truth is that I have always tried that, both the versions that I have made and the own songs, are the songs that I like, songs that when I listen to them transmit to me and I know that they are for me. I don't pigeonhole myself, although for example I wouldn't sing heavy metal. But I am very open, also people who have listened to me do know that I tend to function a lot.

Lya singing at Occo nightclub in Seville with other flamenco artists.

Lya Interview

- Your latest track with Manuel Cortés is a fusion of flamenco and bachata. Do you have other fusions with other styles in mind? Sure, I'm recording the sixth album and in this album almost everything is fusions, we're even going to do some bulerías that we're going to fuse with more electronic sounds. We're going to do fusion with almost all the songs, we're also bringing Latin themes, very cool stuff. - What reach would you like to have? The more people who listen to my songs and my stories, the better, that's the most beautiful thing, to arrive at a concert and have it filled with people listening to your songs. - Would you like to try your luck in other countries? I would love to, I've been in Mexico, England, France and Portugal, where I've been able to share my music. The truth is that the further away and the more people, the better. We often think that no one is a prophet in their own land, many artists like Mónica Naranjo, without going any further, are very popular in America. On many occasions, when they recognize your talent outside your land, you already acquire that prestige. I have sung with Joaquín Cortés and flamenco is very popular there, many tickets are sold and they have that respect for it, even more than here because here we like it and we respect it but we don't go to the concerts and we don't give the artists the place they deserve to be valued more. - What collaborations would you like to do in the future? I would like to collaborate with all the artists I admire. There isn't one in particular, but of all the ones I've learned from, Niña Pastori, Alejandro Sanz... There are so many people I admire, I like to share music with all of them, and also with those who are not famous. In my album I like to collaborate with artists that I like and that transmit something to me. - What could you highlight about your career for anyone who doesn't know you? Artistically I have shared the stage with Pastora Soler, I worked with her as a backing singer for two years, I also worked with Joaquín Cortés. I have been doing studio work and so on, they have all been teaching me things in life. Pastora Soler has given me advice, with Joaquín for example I didn't have such a close relationship of friendship but it's normal, some are closer and others not so much. I didn't have that friendship like with Pastora, from her I learned, because you learn how you have to behave on stage, how you have to behave with others and then I take it to my own way. The truth is that you learn things from everyone, so from great artists that you see and admire, too. You learn a lot from the things they do, how they do them, how they behave... Life is about that, learning how others do things. - What would you value positively and negatively about the industry? It's that there are people who are not worth a fig and are hitting home runs but there are also musicians who are as good as gold and are starving because they cannot live from music. But life is so unfair, not only for music but also for many jobs, life is like that, it's luck... The people you know also influence, some have that luck because they have many followers and it costs them little to get where they are and there are others who have to work a little harder. - A dream I would like to always have work in music to be able to help my family and that my girls don't lack anything. To live well from music and to be able to be well, to enjoy them and music for me is the most important thing. Family, music and God. - What stadium would you like to fill? The Wizink Center, I have already sung there, I have been an opening act for Alejandro Sanz on one of his tours and apart from that I was with Cadena Dial that did things with many artists but I would like to fill it with my people, with my audience singing my songs.

The singer Manzanita, along with other flamenco artists, performed with his guitar at the Occo nightclub in Seville

Manzanita Interview

-What influences have you had from your environment? Well, I've been very influenced by my father, of course, by Chiquetete, by Paco de Lucía... I think we've all learned from them, so we've been greatly influenced. -What objectives do you have in mind? I'm going to do a tribute to my father with several artists, I have to record no matter what because I'm already a bit shameless (laughs) so we'll start recording soon. -What is the most important thing to you besides music? My family and my children. -Would you like your children to follow your path? It's a very beautiful path, you work very hard, you have to travel many miles away from home, I wouldn't like that. -What do you express in your creations that have to do with your experiences? Well, I am a lover of love and heartbreak, I think love is measured in ballads, I emphasize love a lot in my creations. -What do you think is more important, to have a long musical career or to have a short but intense one? It depends on the moment of the situation, it is a very difficult life, I prefer short but intense. -How do you see the evolution of the industry in Spain? Rate it in a positive or negative way. At the flamenco level, yes, what is orthodox flamenco is true that it is much better than it was before but I think that if you don't do fusions you don't reach the great mass, I stay in the fusion.

Girls demon and mimo costume in halloween party

Halloween tickets: unlimited horror in Seville

The most terrifying night of the year is near and, as every year, Halloween brings new and spooky trends. From costumes inspired by the latest horror movies to reinvented classics, this year creativity has no limits. The roots of Halloween go back to the ancient Celts, who celebrated Samhain, a festival that marked the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. It was believed that on this night, the veil between the world of the living and that of the dead became thinner, allowing spirits to return to Earth. Over the years, the tradition has evolved and adapted to new trends, and has truly become a mass party and has spread around the world. The most common thing is that the streets are filled with people dressed up as the most terrifying characters, although the plans vary depending on age. While zombies, vampires and witches are always a safe bet, this year costumes are becoming more original and varied. Some of the most sought after include video game characters as these have become very relevant in popular culture, and characters like Peely from Fortnite or the protagonists of indie horror games are in high demand. Costumes from the 80s are not far behind, many seek to revive this decade with costumes inspired by movies like "Beetlejuice" or series like "Stranger Things." On the other hand, the trend is always marked by the most viral, in this case memes inspire original and fun costumes. Something that cannot be missed this year are the theme parties, this year more elaborate environments are sought such as tunnels of terror, good atmosphere, hiring actors or professionally elaborated costumes and makeup. Halloween decoration goes beyond pumpkins and cobwebs. This year, more elaborate and thematic environments are sought, such as murder parties with suspicious clues. Haunted houses are a classic, absolutely timeless. In the Andalusian capital we find many plans to make this Halloween, although without a doubt the best recommendation for the youngest is to attend a party in a large disco that has a good decoration. This year, the haunted tunnels and detailed decorations stand out. People generally prefer to go to a large disco for obvious reasons. Occo disco is one of the preferred options for this year. In addition to its spaciousness, the Halloween nights will be filled with a mysterious atmosphere with many surprises such as gifts, contests, and raffles. You have four days with four different parties to choose from. This Wednesday is designed for the university audience par excellence, with costume contests and many more surprises. Thursday the 31st is the most anticipated day, especially because it is the official day of Halloween but also because it is the start of a long weekend.

Halloween 2024: Plans to do in Seville

The scariest season of the year is approaching, undoubtedly a holiday that has evolved over the years, but has always known how to adapt to adversity and the complexity of surviving for centuries. In each territory it is celebrated differently, although they all have something in common and that is the commemoration and celebration of the cult of the dead. In Spain this tradition has been settling over the years, nowadays it has become almost a religion everyone without excepting any age range celebrate Halloween religiously. This evolution goes hand in hand with going out to party, whether it is something more intimate like a private party only for friends or a mass party such as a festival or a nightclub. If we talk about nightclubs, the best option is the Occo nightclub, in addition to its spaciousness, it highlights its large LED screen and its great capacity to hold 2,400 people, as well as its division into two floors. It is clear that people want to see and feel the Halloween atmosphere, that is why they prefer to go to nightclubs or pubs that have haunted houses or horror shows. There are other options such as doing a horror-themed Escape Room, in Seville there are a variety of types and sizes. Among the favorites are La Llorona with a 5-star rating, Midnight Mass or Carol's Nightmare, it is certainly one of the best options to spend a scary Halloween. Attending an amusement park is also a sure hit, Isla Mágica has special shows for this season to spend a scary Halloween that you will not forget, if you are a fan of adrenaline this is your place. We cannot forget the most traditional plans such as going to the cinema or having a scary movie marathon from home, everything is valid to spend an unforgettable night.

Terraces in Seville: the best ingredient for a great afternoon of drinks and socializing

Everyone likes to go out and have a great time, but something in the trend is changing if we talk about going out to enjoy. This paradigm shift is noticeable in the hospitality sector, in the summer months this trend increases since people tend to go out more outdoors at reasonable times. On the other hand, the visual and auditory spectacle offered by the afternoon is not done in the same way by the night sector, in the afternoon we can opt for flamenco or rumba shows, an ideal plan for fans of the world of flamenco. This is a perfect plan for all audiences, even for foreigners, we must bear in mind that rumba and flamenco are completely timeless and part of Spanish folklore. You can also see the change of audience from nightlife to the afternoon public, naturally this is not for everyone. It will depend to a large extent on the economic capital of the people and the availability in time slot due to work. The option of choice is highly variable because it will depend on the location of the consumer. In this respect, the culture and tradition of "tardeo" is more common in some places than others. Logically, in Nordic countries this culture is not as widespread as it may be in Spain, and in the south of Spain it is more common to "go out in the afternoon" than in other parts of the Spanish territory. The Spanish municipalities in which this tradition is most common are those in the south of Spain, which coincide precisely with Seville, Granada, Cadiz, Huelva and Almeria. Although it is also quite widespread in other important cities such as Madrid and Barcelona, it is still preferred in the south.

Christmas dinners in Seville: the best option for companies

The Christmas season is approaching and as always we must have advance menu options that include as many things as possible. Most companies prefer to have a pre-established plan in which everything is relatively close since in these times it is difficult to find a place where something is not fully booked. There are many options that can be considered, but a very popular option is Occo Sevilla, in collaboration with the Monte restaurant, offers the customer several menu options varying whether it is dinner or lunch. The main menu consists of Iberian starters, including cheese, ham and pork loin. It also includes an assortment of pates, fried fish and stew croquettes and hake tacos. Among the main courses we can choose the Iberian sirloin with Pedro Ximénez sauce and baked potatoes or confit cod with vegetable pisto and prawns battered with aioli. The entire menu includes dessert and an open bar of white or rosé wine, Rioja, beer, water. There are other options that can be included in the menu, such as the Huelva cooked prawns, ideal for this time of year to complete and make the stay feel festive. You can also include variations to the main courses mentioned above, such as the inclusion of beef sirloin with pan-fried potatoes. In addition, the entire menu includes admission to the disco and a drink. Everything is ready and prepared for an unforgettable evening.

Christmas menus in Seville: bet on all inclusive

Christmas company dinners have become a classic of corporate celebrations. However, every year new trends emerge that seek to make this evening an even more special and memorable moment. In 2024, companies are looking for more personalized, sustainable experiences that foster connection between employees. Among the most notable trends are à la carte menus, fixed menus are no longer in fashion. The convenience of being able to choose dishes to the user's preference makes it easier to foster connection between employees. For obvious reasons, not only for reasons of taste but also to avoid intolerances and allergens. Themed activities are the order of the day, these activities include magic shows, comedy shows and dance activities among others. Although one of the trends that is completely and absolutely timeless are personalized gifts, adapted to trends such as the invisible friend or the famous Christmas baskets of companies. The venue is also important, with more and more groups wanting it to be a versatile and affordable place, since in most places groups have to move to other places for a drink after the meal in question. Opting for places where you can then have a drink is what people mostly prefer. Open bars are hard to find, but they meet all the requirements that large groups are looking for, especially if we're talking about an open bar during lunch or dinner, as that's what's most in demand in the restaurant world. Other aspects to consider are the decoration and lighting of the place, that the place is visually appealing also adds points. It is necessary that the place where this Christmas meal is celebrated has a special and fabulous atmosphere worthy of a magazine.

Christmas food

Christmas meals in Seville, tradition sets the trend

Christmas is a time for family gatherings, gifts, and of course, good food! While the Christmas tree and Santa Claus are universal symbols, Christmas culinary traditions vary greatly from country to country, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of our planet. Europe stands out as a continent of endless culinary traditions, a mosaic of flavors that combine sweet and savory, achieving a perfect combination to excite the palates of the most exquisite. From the Nordic feast with its smoked salmon and gingerbread cookies to the British stuffed turkey and the French bûche de Noël, each country offers a unique taste of Christmas. Spanish Iberian ham, French foie gras, and British Christmas pudding are just a few examples of the delicacies that adorn European Christmas tables. In Spain, the variety is even greater, with dishes ranging from Galician seafood to cod a la Vizcaina. Although in each autonomous community the tradition is adapted to the tastes of the citizens, Andalusia stands out for the combination of seafood and turkey, also the famous and desired batch of Iberians that can not be missed is included. What makes the difference between Spain and the rest of the countries is not only the food but also the culture, really not in all countries it is traditional that the whole family is so united in those dates and especially the tradition of the bells that is only done in Spain as a European country, although in other countries of America it is tradition as in Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Venezuela. Christmas is a celebration that unites people through food. Each dish tells a story and reflects the culture of a place, therefore every culture is always valid although we may like it more or less.

Christmas light

Christmas in Seville 2024, 7 plans to do in Seville

Christmas is a magical time, a period full of family gatherings, religious celebrations, and deep-rooted traditions that are experienced with great intensity throughout the country. Cities are transformed into authentic fairytale cities during Christmas. The streets are adorned with colorful lights, store windows are decorated with Christmas motifs, and Christmas carols play everywhere. Nativity scenes, representations of the birth of Jesus, are another of the most deep-rooted traditions. In many homes and public squares you can find Nativity scenes made with great detail. We will show you seven plans so you don't stay home any day. Tradition stipulates seeing the Christmas lights, taking photos that will remain for posterity while listening to street Christmas carols. Undoubtedly the best plans to do with family or friends. There is nothing comparable to visiting the Nativity scenes that are distributed in different parts of the city, made by hand, they have the details made to the millimeter without skimping on expenses. Without a doubt, activities such as skating on the ice rink cannot be missed. The best plan to have a laugh with your closest friends. Visiting the Christmas markets is also a special tradition, as most people take advantage of these visits to buy Christmas gifts and to treat themselves while in the city. Nightclubs in Seville, towards a new paradigm shift

Seville, a city that vibrates with passion and tradition, offers a nightlife as rich and diverse as its history. From flamenco tablaos to modern nightclubs, the way Sevillians enjoy the night has evolved over time, reflecting cultural and social changes. This article explores the festive trends in Seville, tracing its historical evolution and offering a glimpse into the future. At the beginning of the 20th century, Seville's nightlife was marked by coffee bar and theaters, where flamenco, live music, and a bohemian atmosphere were enjoyed. Social dances and gatherings in private homes were also popular among the upper classes. With the arrival of tourism and modernization, the first bars and nightclubs emerged. Popular music and dance became the center of nightlife. The April Fair has always been a highlight, setting trends and styles. By the end of the century, the "movida sevillana" (Sevillian movement), influenced by international musical currents such as rock and pop, led to an explosion of music bars and pubs. Areas like the Alameda de Hércules and the Triana neighborhood became established as epicenters of the party scene. The Sevillian nightlife scene is a melting pot of styles. From tapas bars with a flamenco atmosphere to nightclubs with electronic music, passing through terraces with panoramic views and live music venues, the offer is varied and adapts to all tastes. A path to the future The nightlife scene will continue to diversify to cater to the tastes of an increasingly broad audience. An increase in venues with innovative offerings is expected, such as bars with signature cocktails, multi-purpose spaces that combine music, art and gastronomy, and immersive experiences. Technology will play an important role in nightlife, with apps to reserve tables, order drinks and find out about the programming of venues. Virtual and augmented reality could offer new ways to enjoy the party. Nightlife venues will be increasingly concerned about sustainability and environmental impact. Practices such as recycling, the use of renewable energies and the reduction of plastic consumption will be promoted. There is a trend towards valuing the local and the traditional. Venues that offer authentic experiences, such as live flamenco or Sevillian gastronomy, will continue to be highly appreciated. The trend of multi-purpose spaces, which combine music, art, gastronomy and culture, is gaining popularity. In the future, it is likely that more nightlife venues in Seville will offer hybrid experiences, where culture is mixed with fun, creating unique environments that fuse leisure and art.

Nightclubs and nightlife: Dress code and types of clothing

Nightclubs and nightlife: One of the most frequent questions that nightlife attendees usually have is the so-called "dress code" of a nightclub, since it is not the same for all nightclubs. Each leisure venue has a different one and it is necessary to know it before going to the place in question. How can I know it? Sometimes, you can find dress codes on the website of the place in question or even on social networks such as Instagram or Facebook in a highlight or in the frequently asked questions section. If we do not find this section, we must go to the phone number that appears in contact on Google to inform us directly. What do I do if I can't find it? Most of the time these codes establish formal casual clothing and it is easy to adapt, so simply use basic colors and garments that you can easily combine. What clothes should I avoid? It is also necessary to know that there are garments that can be avoided, such as the use of bandoliers, caps, fanny packs, sports shoes or branded T-shirts. This use can be classified as improper if we do not know the disco well or if it is the first time we visit it. This does not mean that we will not be allowed to enter the premises, but there is that small probability. Without a doubt, the best thing is to avoid this type of clothing. What should I wear? As a recommendation, it is always better to wear shirts, both formal and informal, or polo shirts, dress pants or jeans and going-out shoes without being sporty. Although we have to bear in mind that all of the above mentioned are only recommendations since if the dress code is not known beforehand it is difficult to know what is permissive within the disco in question. Each nightlife venue establishes regulations inside and outside the disco that must always be complied with and is almost always directly related to the city, the type of music or the type of public that attends.

The best winter parties in Seville

The temperatures are sometimes not very conducive to going out partying, although it has never really mattered too much. After all, we have to bear in mind that the best parties in the capital always take place in the summer or post-summer period. The preferred venues for the winter season are located indoors; the terrace is only preferred when it is conditioned so that the public does not get cold in it. If you want to enjoy a disco, certain differential parameters are established for this choice, such as the size of the disco, the public it offers or the type of music. There are discos for all types and tastes, but theme parties are always a good choice. Clubs like Occo have a wide variety of specialized parties for all audiences, these events include surprises, gifts, photocall, face painting and many more things.Saturdays are for Occo Bongo, a party for a much more mature audience than the previous days, there may be special guests or live shows such as saxophonists, percussionists, violinists and other artists. If there is something that characterizes this type of party is the exclusive and comfortable atmosphere for a more mature audience. The large size of this disco also allows everyone to play with different scenarios to the taste of what you want at any time. An example of this would be the sofa area where you can be more chill without forgetting that you are inside a disco. For the younger ones there are other theme parties such as the Winter Party, a party with more than one edition in which the main theme is winter. All the dancers wear skier outfits and you can take pictures with goggles, hats or skis while enjoying a shot provided by the workers of the same.If there is something that abounds in winter festivals is the afternoon, therefore flamenco and rumba are also the order of the day.

Nightclubs near me: Find the best party in Seville

People prefer to go to a nightclub that is close to their homes. Sometimes finding a disco that meets requirements such as the public, size and services can be a somewhat complicated task. We all like to feel involved and protagonists when we go to a place and the discos have been adapting this trend little by little. Themed parties are being in great demand, especially among young and university audiences. They not only prefer a party with a good theme, but also the DJ or guest artists influence, therefore you have to take care of every detail to always be at the top. Among the most prominent discos in the center of Seville is the Monasterio disco, an 18th century palace house. Its location is the key to its success, its audience is quite ambiguous, we can find people of all ages and from all countries because the disco is quite close to enclaves such as the Alameda de Hércules, an ideal place for young foreigners and for all cultures. Therefore, the music of this disco fluctuates a lot from the commercial reggaeton that we always hear. We can also hear house and electronic music, as well as classics of this same theme. The most remarkable thing about its theme parties are the Wednesdays and Thursdays of free beer bar. The public can enjoy a free beer bar for two hours, ideal for all lovers of barley. Another of the most sought after discos is Occo Sevilla, in another different enclave with the previous one mentioned, as it is located between Nervión and Seville Este. An ideal spot for a disco with great capacity. Its audience varies greatly depending on the day of the week, since in this disco themed parties are held for university students on Thursdays and Fridays. It is also a disco known for its concerts that brings together artists of the urban genre of the moment. This disco is also a beach club in summer and is just what the Sevillian public needs to cope with the heat waves that the disco is used to having. We can say that the choice of a disco is something quite personal and depends a lot on the season, the trend and especially what each club offers.

Nightclub Safety: Tips for a worry-free night

The nightlife scene in Spain has undergone significant changes in recent years, and safety in nightclubs has become an even greater priority in 2025. The evolution of technology, new regulations, and growing public awareness of safety have shaped a more complex and demanding environment. The most important thing is always to drink in moderation. Sometimes security personnel may be busy with other matters or not have access to the location of the potential victim. Therefore, it is vitally important to drink water between drinks, eat before drinking alcohol so as not to have an empty stomach and avoid the famous hangover. Once we are located inside the premises it is important not to lose sight of our drink, we must bear in mind that not everyone can go to a place of nightlife with good intentions. If the club in question is large, it is important to go accompanied or try to go accompanied to the sites. Having located the emergency exits can mark a before and after, make sure at your entrance to ask the staff for their location or try to place yourself as close as possible to these exit points. Also being in direct contact with the qualified personnel hired by the disco will make your comfort situation change. Do not hesitate to consult whatever you want or ask for help if you are in case of danger. The capacity control this year will be even more rigorous, using technologies such as sensors and automated counting systems to avoid overcrowding and ensure safety in case of evacuation. Overcrowding is one of the most common infractions in the world of nightclubs, if you feel in danger check the capacity of the disco or look for less crowded places inside the club. Finally, collaborate with the authorities. If something happens, tell everything that happened without lying to both the managers of the room and the authorities in question.

Bachelorette parties in Seville, cheap all-inclusive plans

Weddings can be the most anticipated event in the lives of many, a long-awaited and traditional celebration. While modern celebrations are more festive, the origins of bachelor and bachelorette parties date back to ancient customs. Traditionally, they focused more on the bride and her transition to married life. Vestiges of this type of celebration still remain from ancient Greece and Sparta. In other countries, such as the United States, these parties evolved into "Bridal Showers" where the bride's relatives gave her gifts to start her new married life. To achieve a cheap and affordable plan, you can make different plans within everyone's reach. An example of this is tapas in low-cost bars and restaurants, such as any bar in the center or Triana. It is undoubtedly the best way to enjoy Seville's gastronomy with unbeatable prices and tastings that will make you want to return, wherever you come from. If you want a farewell with folkloric touches, flamenco shows are a sure-fire option. In the center of Seville, there are several options at affordable prices to complete the farewell afternoon. The highlight of the day can be a boat trip on the Guadalquivir River. You can find all the prices to enjoy the views provided by this adventure and take photos and videos to remember an unforgettable day. If the farewell is at night, there are several options that can be considered, such as all-inclusive packages. More and more people need the peace of mind of having packages that include different things. There are many promoters who are in charge of organizing your bachelorette party to make it as affordable as possible. An example of this would be dinners with a show, entertainment, and disco. The Occo nightclub would be a good example of this, offering dinner with a live show, aerial visual show, as well as an open bar during dinner. It then offers the possibility of continuing the party in one of the most famous nightclubs in Seville. All plans can be optimal and everything will depend on the tastes of the attendees. Dividing the expenses among all the participants will help reduce the individual cost. All the plans found in the city are accessible, which is a saving in transport. Original bachelor and bachelorette party activities in Seville in 2025

Perhaps one of the most prominent events in the period between courtship and marriage is the bachelorette party. The modern version of the bachelorette party, as we know it today, began to take shape in the 20th century, especially from the 1960s onwards with the sexual revolution, when the idea of a "last big party" before marriage became popular. In Spain, the bachelorette party is a very popular celebration and often becomes a major event. It is usually organized by the bride's closest friends and family members, who are in charge of planning the party according to the bride's tastes. The activities carried out will depend, apart from the tastes of the bride and her friends, on the season, the weather and the number of people. The personalization of current bachelorette parties is quite relevant, everything is in the detail, from the glasses, accessories, costumes... Everything is valid to liven up the celebration and to make the bachelorette party unforgettable for all attendees. Sometimes, these celebrations are extended longer than expected, it can be for a few days, a weekend or a whole week. Although everything will depend on the budget available. If the budget allows, traveling is the best option. The most popular national destinations are Ibiza, Tenerife and Mallorca. These destinations are preferred for being coastal and for having personalized packages that everyone wants, these packages usually include flights, accommodation, excursions, all-inclusive and to a greater or lesser extent tickets to different nightclubs. It will depend, of course, on the final price of each package. Adventure bachelorette parties are becoming more and more popular, doing activities like bungee jumping, skydiving, climbing, hiking trails such as the Caminito del Rey. All these plans also serve to be in direct contact with nature and have a different bachelorette party compared to the rest. A classic would be to go to a disco to celebrate the bachelorette party, although everyone prefers more prominence, such as bachelorette party packages in which the bride or groom in question have a leading role within the disco, such as themed dinners, dynamic shows or reserved areas with personalized details with funny phrases, the name of the protagonists, etc. In short, it is a deeply rooted tradition in many cultures, which has evolved over time. In Spain, it is a popular celebration that is characterized by the diversity of activities and the festive spirit.
